Graduated in Nursing at Universidade Federal de São Paulo (1993), MSc in Oncology at Fundação Antonio Prudente (2002) and PhD in Oncology at Fundação Antonio Prudente (2007). Certified for Palliative Care - Education and Practice at Harvard Medical School (2008). She was the Coordinator of the Center for Teaching and Research of Hospital Geral do Grajaú - OSS and Consultant in Education and Research for the Instituto de Responsabilidade Social Sírio-Libanês. Currently, she is the Project manager os Residency Project PROADI at Hospital Sírio-Libanês. Reviewer of the European Journal of Oncology Nursing, Applied Cancer Research, Latin American Journal of Nursing.
