Pérola Damasceno Barreto

Graduated in Biological Sciences (Bachelor and Licenciatura) from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo - PUC-SP (2010), Technician in Urban Solid Waste by Federal Institute of Bahia - IFBA (2013) and graduate in Fisheries Engineering at Universidade do Estado da Bahia - UNEB (completion scheduled for December 2018).A two-year experience gained at the Paulista Agribusiness Technology Agency (APTA), from the Agriculture and Supply Secretariat / Sorocaba Research and Development Unit (UPDS), linked to the MAPA, carrying out laboratory tests for the detection of phytopathogens and inspection in the field.Former FAPESP Fellow (TT-3), through the Faculty of Medicine of the University of São Paulo-FMUSP (2013), in the Experimental Therapeutic Laboratory, with emphasis on Respiratory Physiology.She teaches Biology and English Language classes at UNEB, campus VIII - Paulo Afonso, in the University for All (UPT) program.Currently, she is a trainee at the State Agricultural Defense Agency of Bahia (ADAB), registering and accompanying animal breeders (from fish farming to cattle, sheep and goats), as well as the transit of these animals.He is interested in the areas of technology, inspection and processing of fish and in the development of new products, as well as in the optimization of the use of the waste generated in fish processing.
