Bachelor's in chemistry from State University of Ponta Grossa (2008). Master of Science (2011) and Ph.D. (2015) degrees at chemistry from São Paulo University - São Carlos Institute of Chemistry. He worked with the development and characterization of electrochemical sensors modified with conductive polymers (PAni), natural polysaccharides, and silver nanoparticles aiming at applications in the quantification of pesticides during scientific initiation. In the Master of Science application, he studied the self-assembled monolayers based on thiols with different sizes of the carbon chain and its application as an electrochemical sensor for the detection of fisetin. In the Ph.D., he studied the electrodeposition of thin films based on trigonal selenium and its subsequent doping with different metals. For this, he used underpotential deposition as a doping technique. During the post-doctorate, he has investigated new materials and/or the design of materials for photo-assisted electrolysis of water. Currently, he has studied new methods to synthesize photoanodes based on BiVO4 and WO3, as well as the formation of heterojunctions of these compounds and the use of oxygen evolution catalysts based on Ni, Co, and Fe.
