Bruno Tarabola Scarpin graduated in Mechatronics Engineering at the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo - USP in 2013. From 2010 to 2013 participated in a research project in Creep Age Forming (CAF), result of a partnership between the Laboratory for Manufacturing Engineering and EMBRAER, under support of the Foundation for Research Support of the State of São Paulo (FAPESP). In 2012, made an Research Internship at POSTECH - GIFT - Graduate Institute of Ferrous Technology (South Korea). In 2013 had a scholarship of USP Foundation and his work focused on optimization techniques applied to hot forming processes.From 2014 to 2016, received a scholarship from the Sciences without Borders Program (CAPES) to get a Masters degree at the Rochester Institute of Technology (USA), focusing on Manufacturing Automation.
