Electrical Engineer from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro - PUC-Rio - Brazil (1966), Master of Sciences on Space Science from Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE - Brazil (1968), Master of Sciences on Space Science from Rice University (1971) and Doctorate(PhD) on Space Physics and Astronomy also from Rice University, Houston, Texas, United States of America (1973). Presently is Collaborator Professor at the Aeronautics Institute of Technology (ITA), Brazil. Has also extensive experience in Computer Science and Engineering, focusing on Software Engineering, acting on the following subjects: Applied Computation, Numerical Analysis, Interpolation, Image Processing, Software Development by Agile Methods, and Software Testing.
