Eda Freitas de Quadros

Graduate in Civil Engineering- Politechnical School, Catholic University of Pernambuco (1967), Master's in Engineering Sciences, Politechnical School of São Paulo University (1982), Doctor in Engineering Sciences, Politechnical School of São Paulo University (1992). From 1975 to 2011, worked in the Institute of Technological Research of São Paulo. At the beginning, as a Master of Sciences and PhD student, with financial support from FAPESP (Foundation for the Research Development of São Paulo). After, worked as Assistent Researcher, Researcher and Senior Researcher in the Division of Mining and Applied Geology and later on in the Infrastrucutre and Work Center. After leaving the Institute started to run the Company BGTech Soil and Rock Engineering, a company working with consulting on the behaviour of soil and rocks applied to engineering Works, assessment of material properties based on field testing and analysis of parameters, rock mass permeability, grouting efficiency, geotechnical investigations aiming the use of parameters for hydrogeomechanical models and others.
