Currently is an professor (assistant) at the College of Veterinary Medicine, Michigan State University (United States), a professor (volunteer) at the Anesthesiology Graduation Program, Sao Paulo State University (Brazil), coordinator of the Laboratory of Applied Artificial Intelligence in Health (LAAIH), and husband full-time. He has 60 published scientific articles and a book chapter. He is interested in the areas of R programming, statistical validation for health instruments, pain assessment in animals, applied ethology and animal welfare. He held an postdoctoral research in the North Carolina State University (United States), and an MBA in Data Science and Analytics from Sao Paulo University (USP). Doctorate and Postdoctoral by the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science (FMVZ) of the UNESP. Master by the Faculty of Agrarian and Veterinary Sciences (FCAV) of the UNESP. Sandwich Master at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU) in Uppsala, Sweden. Veterinarian by the University Center of Rio Preto (UNIRP) since 2015.
