Ph.D. (2019) and M.A. (2015) in Social Anthropology from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), B.A. (2009) in Social Sciences from the same institution. His topics of interest and work include: Classical and folk arts in modernity, Applied Ethnomusicology, Technology, media and open source, Theory and history of Social Sciences. Develops artistic-musical activities involving modal musical systems, the Brazilian ten-string viola and the Istanbul lute (lavta). As an outreach researcher, he has developed actions for recording, dissemination and processing of audiovisual media of folk arts from Piauí's semi-arid region using accessible and replicable technologies. Founder of the Experimental Cycle of Folk Arts (Ciclo Experimental de Artes Populares - CICLOPES) and member of the Workshop and Archive of Anthropology, Image and Sound (Oficina e Arquivo de Antropologia, Imagem e Som - OAAIS) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
