Currently (2025), he is a Postdoctoral Researcher in Economic and Agrarian Geography funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) at São Paulo State University (UNESP, Rio Claro). He recently completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Geography at UNESP (Rio Claro) through the Institutional Internationalization Program (PrInt) of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES). He holds a Ph.D. in Human Geography from the University of São Paulo (USP, 2022). During his doctoral studies, he was a Visiting Researcher at the International Institute of Social Studies (ISS) of Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Hague, Netherlands (2019). His doctoral research analyzes the transformation of farmland into financial asset in the context of contemporary capitalism, focusing on the socio-spatial reactions to the expansion of agribusiness in the Cerrado biome, particularly in the north-central region of Brazil (Matopiba). He earned a Bachelor's and a Teaching Degree in Geography from São Paulo State University (UNESP, 2012) and completed his Master's in Geography at the State University of Campinas (UNICAMP, 2016), during which he was also a Visiting Researcher at The Graduate Center of City University of New York (CUNY Graduate Center, 2014). He is the author of articles published in indexed national and international journals and has been part of the external reviewers base for the Journal of Peasant Studies (JPS), Globalizations, and the Revista NERA since 2019. Since 2018, he has collaborated with the Social Network for Justice and Human Rights and the Pastoral Land Commission (CPT). Currently (2025), his research focuses on the financialization of agribusiness and global land grabbing, as well as investigations into the intersection of climate change, green grabbing practices, and popular agroecology.
