Fabio Luiz Checchio Mingotte

Assistant Professor at the Department of Plant Production (Phytotechnics/Agriculture Area) of the School of Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, São Paulo State University (FCAV/UNESP, Jaboticabal-SP), working in the Undergraduate Courses in Agronomic Engineering and Animal Science, responsible for the disciplines Agriculture (sugarcane, corn, soybeans and wheat), Agriculture I (soybeans, corn, rice and wheat), Agriculture II (sugarcane, peanuts, beans and coffee), Sustainable Agriculture and Organic Agriculture; and in the Postgraduate Program in Agronomy (Plant Production), responsible for the discipline cereal and oilseed production systems. PhD (Fapesp scholarship - 2011/2014) and Master (CNPq scholarship - 2010/2011) in Agronomy (Plant Production) from FCAV/UNESP. He holds a specialization in Tropical Agriculture from the Cycle d'Etudes Supérieures d'Agronomie Tropicale (ESAT) of the Institut des Régions Chaudes (IRC) of the Université Montpellier SupAgro in Montpellier-France, and is a Capes scholarship holder in the Brafagri program (2008/09). He holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering from the State University of Londrina (UEL, Londrina-PR, 2005/2009). He holds a degree in Agricultural Technician from the José Bonifácio Agricultural Technical College of FCAV/UNESP (2000/2002). He worked as a Substitute Professor in the Department of Agricultural Production Sciences at FCAV/UNESP Jaboticabal-SP from 2016 to 2023, being responsible for the subjects Culture of oleaginous, fibrous plants and heveiculture (soybean, cotton, peanut and rubber tree), Agriculture I (corn, sorghum, rice and wheat), Agriculture II (beans, peanuts, coffee and sugarcane) and Sustainable Agriculture in the undergraduate course in Agronomic Engineering; Agriculture (corn, sorghum, soybean and sugarcane) in the undergraduate course in Animal Science and Economic Botany in the undergraduate course in Biology, respectively. He worked as a Substitute Professor of the subjects Agriculture/Olericulture, Annual Crops, Semi-perennial and perennial Crops, Floriculture, Phytosanitary Treatment and Informatics in Agriculture at the José Bonifácio Agricultural Technical College of FCAV/UNESP from 2015 to 2023. He was a Professor in the Undergraduate Course in Agronomic Engineering at the Unifafibe University Center, Bebedouro-SP, in the subjects Bioenergetic Crops, Phytotechnics II, Phytotechnics III, Silviculture, Seed Production and Technology, Agribusiness and Regional Development, Medicinal and Aromatic Plants and Integrative Practices from 2014 to 2021. Doctor Professor in the Agronomic Engineering Course at the Faculty of Taquaritinga - FTGA from 2019 to 2022. Doctor Professor in the Agronomic Engineering Course at the University of Brazil from 2022 to 2023. Assistant Professor in the undergraduate course in Agribusiness Technology at Centro Paula Souza, Faculty of Technology of Taquaritinga (Fatec / Taq), responsible for the disciplines Plant Production I, Agroecology, Precision Agriculture, Forestry Technologies, Associations and Cooperativism from 2014 to 2016. He has experience in Agronomy (Plant Production), with an emphasis on Phytotechnics (Agriculture), working mainly in the following research areas: agricultural production systems; no-till system; crop rotation / succession; intercropping and intercropping; crop-livestock-forest integration; agroecology; conservation agriculture; low-carbon agriculture; cultivar evaluation, management and cultural treatments of energy species (sugarcane), cereals (corn, sorghum, rice and wheat), oilseeds (soybean, peanuts and cotton), green manures and cover crops. He is a member of the SAGRIS Research Group - Sustainability in Agricultural Systems at the Department of Agricultural Production Sciences at FCAV/UNESP. He was Editor-in-Chief of Science and Technology Innovation in Agronomy (2016-2018), currently performing activities as an "ad hoc" Reviewer for national and international scientific journals.
