Aldo Luiz Bizzocchi

BA in Linguistics from the University of São Paulo (1987), PhD in General Linguistics and Semiotics from the University of São Paulo (1994), with post-doctorates in Compared Linguistics from the State University of Rio de Janeiro (2010) and Etymology from the University of São Paulo (2016), member of the Research Group in Historical Morphology of Portuguese (GMHP) and the Center for Research Support in Etymology and History of the Portuguese Language (NEHiLP). Has experience in the fields of Linguistics and Romance and Germanic languages, working in the areas of Linguistics (General, Historical, Comparative, Romance, Contrastive Phonology), Philology, Semiotics (Sociosemiotics and Cognitive Semiotics) and Theory of Culture.
