Maria Cristina Souza de Albuquerque Maranhão

Graduated in Mathematics (1972), she is Mathematics Master (1986) and Mathematics Education Ph.d. (1996). She finished her Pos Phd Program in Teacher's Cultural Practices in Mathematics Education at FE/UNICAMP in 2009. She has been acting since the 90thies as a teacher and researcher at São Paulo Pontifical Catholic University (PUC-SP) and as an adviser at Vera Cruz School. She has experience in Math Education research, focusing on Arithmetics and Algebraic Education and also in collaborative researches with school teachers, particularly those from Vera Cruz School.
