Marcos de Mattos Pimenta

graduate at Engenharia Mecanica from Universidade de São Paulo (1970), master's at Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (1972) and ph.d. at Mechanical Engineering from Stanford University (1975). As post-doctor worked at The University of Texas at Austin. Has experience in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on Mechanical and Thermal Engineering, acting on the following subjects: automóvel, modelagem e simulação, escoamento incompressível, turbulence, models, combustion, swirl and thermal equipment simulation, design and optimization. It is professor and advisor in Distributed Generation of PECE. Participates in the evaluation of works in SIICUSP (22nd.) and FEBRACE (18th). Coordinates the International Agreement between USP and TU Berlin with research in Wind Turbines applications.
