Danny P. Claro is Professor (full) of Marketing and director of the Center for Marketing Analytics. Associate Dean of the Master and Doctoral Program in Business. Member of the Academic Board and the Graduate Program Academic Committee He was the associate dean of the master program and former director of the Center for Strategy Research in Insper. He holds an Engeneering bachelor degree (1995) and master's of science in Business Administration (1998) from Universidade Federal de Lavras, and PhD in Business Administration (2004) from Wageningen University And Research Center, the Netherlands. He is an active member of Anpad (business academic association in Brazil) and AMA. Professor Claro teaches Marketing Analytics, Marketing Management and Marketing Channels for undergraduate and graduate programs. Launched in 16/Jan, his Coursera Introduction to Marketing Analytics is rated 4.7 stars with more than 50 thousand learners (Sep24). He also teaches executive education and work in projects with companies in various industries. His work is published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Management Studies, Psychology Marketing, Journal of Supply Chain Management, European Journal of Marketing, Journal of Chain and Network Science, Journal of Business and Industrial Marketing among others. He was awarded best paper in the track of Selling and Sales Management in the Summer Educator's Meeting of the American Marketing Association (2014). He is currently involved in research on Sales Networks and Sales Management. Previously he developed research in Marketing Channels, Retailing and Relationship Management. Prof. Claro is author of articles published in the Journal of Marketing, Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, Journal of Retailing, International Journal of Research in Marketing, Journal of Management Studies, European Journal of Marketing, Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of International Marketing, Journal of Supply Chain Management among others.
