I practice scientific research with a specialization in laboratory animals and have a degree in Veterinary Medicine. I worked at the Butantan Institute's laboratory animal breeding and maintenance facility (2019- April 2024) as RT, responsible for the laboratory, veterinarian, coordinator and teacher at the Butantan Animal Facility and supported scientific projects. At IPEN, Energy Research (2014-2019) I carried out scientific research and worked as a veterinarian and head of the laboratory in the vivarium for the creation, maintenance and experimentation of laboratory animals at IPEN in the Biotechnology department, and supported master's and doctoral projects , I was a member of the Animal Use Ethics Committee. During my postgraduate studies at USP I worked with laboratory animals in a FAPESP thematic group with research in the area of #8203;#8203;neuroimmunomodulation in tumor studies. In detail I describe below: Instituto Butantan_ 2019-April 2024: Veterinary Doctor, responsible for the laboratory, Coordinator and Technical Responsible for the Breeding Vivarium, Maintenance of laboratory animals (mice, rats, rabbits, guinea pigs and hamsters), teacher in the courses of lato sensu postgraduate degree in the area of #8203;#8203;animal welfare (ESIB) in classes on administration routes and collection and containment of laboratory animals, euthanasia, welfare and enrichment. Coordinating inclusive actions between the public and animals. IPEN-CNEN/USP_2014-2019: Post-doctorate in Biotechnology and worked as a Veterinary Doctor, responsible for the laboratory, Full Member of the Ethics Committee for the Use of Laboratory Animals and Technical Responsible (RT) for the Creation and Experimentation Vivarium of the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research where he worked with laboratory animals (mice, rats and rabbits) and supported researchers, and was a full member of the Ethics Committee of IPEN-CNEN/USP (CEUA). Responsible for the IPEN Discipline TNA5807-Radioisotopes in Laboratory Animals: from Physical Infrastructure to Experimentation. At IPEN we had a PET CT for rodents, (positron emission tomography "radioactive particle computed tomography"), where I also worked on some experiments and participated in a specific course on PET CT given by DR. Frank West, Professor and Interim Director Division of Oncologic Imaging, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada, which I can prove with USP2018 certification. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
