Edmar Silva Santos

Master and PhD in Biosystems from the Federal University of ABC-UFABC, with main focus on understanding the biology of HCMV (Human Cytomegalovirus) and pediatric monitoring of COVID-19 (2016 and 2023 respectively). He has a degree in Biomedicine from Centro Universitário Lusíada (UNILUS, 2006-2009), with a focus on clinical analysis. Experience in molecular biology, with applications in bacterial resistance and basic virology. Specialized in Education and Health - Specialized School Care (UNIFESP-Institute of Pediatric Oncology). He currently works as pedagogical supervisor of hospital school services at the Hospital Support Group for Adolescents and Children with Cancer, and has been a member of the patient experience team at the same institution since 2021.
