Mariana Miyagi has graduated with BS in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. During graduation, she developed a research project in the Immunology Department laboratory at ICB-USP and received a short-term undergrad research scholarship at the BIDMC lab at Harvard Medical School. She has also worked as lab technician at Hospital Albert Einstein and as intern at a large national Pharmaceutical industry. She works as R&D Formulation Analyst, and have experience with different pharmaceutical dosage forms and different pharmaceutical technologies. She is current phD student of the Program in Drugs and Medicines of Pharmaceutical Production and Control area of School of Pharmaceutical Sciences at USP, and is developing part of her project at Drug Delivery and Nanopharmaceutics laboratory at Nagoya City University, located in Nagoya city, Japan, as temporary researcher.
