Natália Cândido Vendrasco is a biologist from the Federal University of Sao Paulo - Brazil, has a Master's degree in Didactics of Experimental Sciences from the PUCV and is a candidate for a doctorate in Education from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. During her studies, she worked as an educator in various spaces and projects of non-formal scientific education in Brazil and Chile, as a collaborating professor at the Federal University of ABC, in Brazil and as a teacher trainer in the careers of pedagogy in basic education and in the teacher training program of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile, where he currently works. Here work has focused on the teaching and learning processes of science in non-formal spaces, and on the initial training of science teachers. here research and contributions have been disseminated at major conferences in the area of science education such as Enseñanza de las Ciencias and ESERA Conference. In addition, the researcher was awarded the ESERA Early Career Researcher Travel Awards 2020 to carry out part of her doctoral studies at a European university and received the Teaching Excellence Award from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2021.
