Associate Professor at the "Gleb Wataghin" Institute of Physics (IFGW/UNICAMP), in the Department of Quantum Electronics (DEQ). Recipient of a Productivity Research Fellowship from the Brazilian National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq) since 2017. Since 2023, he has also served as a Corresponding Researcher for CONICET (Argentina). Currently serves as Extension Coordinator at IFGW (since 2024), Coordinator of the Laboratory of Metals and Alloys (LML, since 2023), and of the Group of Fundamental and Applied Magnetism (GMFA), certified by CNPq since 2020. He coordinated the Laboratory for Instrumentation in Physics Education (LIEF) from 2020 to 2024. Holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the National University of Mar del Plata, Argentina (2005), and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Buenos Aires (2009). Worked as a Tenure-Track Assistant Professor (JTP) at the National University of Mar del Plata (2010-2015), and as an Assistant Researcher (foreign) at CONICET (2010-2011). Completed postdoctoral research at IFGW/UNICAMP (2011-2016), funded by FAPESP and CNPq. Has held visiting professor/researcher positions at BCMaterials (Basque Country, Spain), Instituto Politécnico Nacional (Mexico), Federal University of ABC (Brazil), National University of Colombia, and National University of La Plata (Argentina). Also worked as a visiting researcher at the Electron Microscopy Laboratory at LNNano/CNPEM (Campinas, SP, Brazil, in 2017). His academic background is in Physics, with expertise in magnetism, magnetic materials, superparamagnetic polymers, and advanced characterization techniques using transmission electron microscopy (TEM, STEM, HAADF, EDS, ED, and Cryo-STEM), with extensive experience as a user of these techniques. He has published over 91 articles in peer-reviewed international journals, with more than 2400 citations and an h-index of 30 (Google Scholar). His publications include papers in Nature Communications, Nanoscale, Nano Research, Scientific Reports, ACS Applied Nano Materials, Applied Physics Letters, Physical Review Applied, Acta Biomaterialia, among others. Has participated in more than 40 national and international conferences, symposia, and workshops. Acted as an ad hoc reviewer for research projects submitted to ANII (Uruguay), CNPq (Brazil), and ANPCyT (Argentina), as well as serving on evaluation panels for proposals submitted to LNLS (2011, 2012, 2017), LME/LNNano/CNPEM (since 2019), and Sirius (since 2023). Reviewer for over 25 high-impact international journals.
