Savio Melo is a professor of Civil Engineering at the Federal University of Bahia, where he dedicates five years to teaching, research and extension. His academic career includes a bachelor's and master's degree in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Ceará and a doctorate in Civil Engineering from the State University of Campinas. He has been actively involved in innovative research in the area of Construction Management, with a focus on Lean Construction, BIM and Blockchain. To date, Sávio has published nine peer-reviewed journals and 54 conference articles. In addition, he raised R$38,800.00 in research funding and supervised 46 capstone projects, 14 undergraduate research, and six master's dissertations throughout his career.
