Wildlife Trafficking Specialist | WCS Brazil. I work at the forefront of monitoring and analyzing illegal markets that exploit biodiversity, with a focus on the use of technology, analytical intelligence, and conservation criminology. I am actively engaged in national and international networks and initiatives to combat wildlife trafficking, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in cross-cultural and globally oriented contexts, including technical support for the implementation and development of strategic proposals within the framework of CITES and CMS. I lead investigations into the illegal wildlife trade and the exploitation of wildlife for online entertainment, with a particular emphasis on identifying criminal networks, analyzing profits derived from animal cruelty, and tracking abusive content on digital platforms. I am also the creator and developer of Aurum, an interactive platform designed to detect criminal patterns in wildlife trafficking cases. The tool integrates spatial analysis, automated investigative reporting, and dynamic visualizations to support decision-making in conservation enforcement. I hold a Ph.D. in Sciences (Evolutionary Genetics and Molecular Biology) from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), with a research exchange period in the United States at The City University of New York, The City College. I have experience applying Artificial Intelligence, Python, and Streamlit to the integrated development of analytical solutions for conservation, as well as in Power BI for data auditing in interactive dashboards.
