Undergraduet in Physics from the State University of Londrina (1999), a Master's degree in Physics from UNICAMP (2002), and a Ph.D. in Sciences from UNICAMP (2006). postdoctoral fellowship in Physics at UNICAMP (2006-2008). Currently, he is an Full Professor at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA), a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Materials Science (PPGCM) the first Ph.D. program in the interior of Maranhão and a permanent member of the Master's and Ph.D. programs in Physics at UFMA. He served as Coordinator of PPGCM from 2013-2015 and 2017-2019. He has been a CNPq productivity fellow since 2009 and has participated as a consultant for FINEP, CNPq, CAPES, FAPEMA, FAPEPI, and FAPESPA. He has also been part of external evaluation committees for PIBIC at UFPA, UFPI, UFNT, and UFMS, and is a user of the National Synchrotron Light Laboratory (LNLS).He has supervised 1 postdoctoral fellow, 1 Ph.D., 19 Master's degrees, and 41 undergraduate research projects. He has coordinated more than 15 research projects with funding totaling approximately R$15.000.000,00. He has published over 130 indexed articles, accumulating around 1,420 citations in ISI (impact factor 353), and has filed more than 40 patents.He has experience in the field of Physics, with an emphasis on Condensed Matter Physics. His research primarily focuses on the following topics: X-ray Diffraction, the Rietveld Method, Multiple X-ray Diffraction, Synchrotron Radiation, metallic materials, organic and inorganic crystals, Ferroelectrics, and Ferromagnetics.
