Graduated (1997), Master's (2000) and Doctorate (2004) in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of São Carlos. He taught from 2004 to 2006 as a substitute professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at UFSCar and then participated in the project "Network of WebLabs in Chemical and Biochemical Process Engineering", linked to the Kyatera/FAPESP Project. He was part of the project until 2008 with a TT-V scholarship (FAPESP). He was a member of the Process Engineers team at Dedini S/A Indústrias de Base focusing on project design, commissioning and start-up of Biodiesel plants, in addition to prospecting for new technologies and partnerships focused on the biodiesel area. From 2009 to 2017, he was a researcher at CTBE (currently LNBR) in the Technological Assessment Program, where he worked mainly on the development of the Virtual Sugarcane Biorefinery. From 2020 to 2022, with a TT-V grant (FAPESP), he worked in the PITE project "Valuing the decentralized biomass production chain focusing at the production of advanced biofuels". His experience is concentrated in the area of #8203;#8203;Chemical Engineering, with emphasis on CAPEX estimation and evaluation of technological scenarios; and Modeling and Simulation, Control and Optimization of chemical and biochemical processes.
