Fatima Maria Mitsue Yasuoka

Graduated in Physics from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos/USP (1986), Master's degree in Applied Physics from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos/USP (1989), Ph.D. in Applied Physics from the Institute of Physics of São Carlos/USP (1997) , post-doctorate in Physics Applied to Ophthalmology at the Physics Institute of São Carlos/USP (2000) and post-doc at the Department of Physics at UFSCar (2014-2015). She worked as a Technical Researcher at the Optical Group/IFSC/USP from 1997 to 2000. worked as a professor at UNESP for 7 years at the Faculty of Engineering of Ilha Solteira (1991-1997), as a professor at the UNIP of Ribeirão Preto and Araraquara (1997-2004 ) in Engineering courses, as a teacher in Optometry technical courses in Limeira and Ribeirão Preto (1998/2004). She worked as a researcher and project manager in the R&D department at Opto Eletrônica S/A from 2000 to 2013 (13 years). As a professor at the Universidade Paulista in Araraquara and Ribeirão Preto from 2015 to 2020. Currently works as a collaborating researcher at the Institute of Physics of São Carlos at the Laboratory of Innovation Optronic for Ophthalmology and Agriculture (LIOOA) and at the EMBRAPII/IFSC unit. She works as a collaborative professor in the Optical Design course, in the Physics course with an emphasis on Photonic Optics at IFSC/USP. He has experience in Physics, focusing on Optics and Photonics, and is currently a specialist in optical systems projects in several interdisciplinary areas (medical, dental, industrial laser, aerospace and defense), working mainly in the area of optical instrumentation for Ophthalmology, Industrial Laser Application and management of research projects. She is currently responsible for the company BR Labs Tecnologia Óptica e Fotônica Ltda and works with marking fiber laser, Ti:Sapphire femtolaser and UV diodo laser on metals, polymers and ceramics.
