Birthplace: Brazil

Bachelor in Chemistry from Instituto de Química USP (1993), Master in Science from Instituto de Química USP (1998), Covalent gels of chitosan and polyethylene glycol, PhD from Instituto de Química USP (2003), Study of the acid-base equilibrium dynamics of Anthocyanins, Coordination of the Pipe Fapesp Project aimed at the production of rosin-based resin (Phase I 2001 and Phase II 2004-2005), Post-Doctorate at the University Milwaukee Wisconsin (2006), Studies of photolysis by laser pulse of bromo rhodamines, Coordination of Project Pipe Fapesp, linked to the production of methyl and ethyl esters of fumaric acid (2006), Interests in organic photochemistry and studies of the photochemistry of anthocyanins, Post-Doctorate at Escola Politécnica USP, Chemical Engineering (2007-2019) where from 2010 as a Scientific Researcher at FUSP, period during which I participated in several projects of the group of polymers, catalysis, food engineering, studies of crystal growth where knowledge of instruments operation, construction, data collection, software to control to instrumentation during the experiments. Acting on projects focused on the environment, photochemistry, catalysis. production of bio-gas from sugarcane bagasse, in photochemical degradation projects with different catalysts, environmental bioremediation projects in degraded areas. Interest in the development of nanostructured catalysts supported by nanotubes as well as the assembly of instrumentation coupled to chromatographs and infrared for their studies. From 2015 to 2020, I participated in the study of means of recovering copper tailings from the Sossego do Pará Plant, aimed at reducing the environmental impact in the pre- and post-closure period of operations with the USP, Vale and BNDES project. Currently developing a project in partnership for the production of PLGA, which is a biocompatible polymer, with modulable bioabsorption time used in orthopedics, dental prosthesis, replacement of platinum pins, internal or external suture threads, support for controlled drug release, among others.
