Graduated in Pharmacy by Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB, 1995), master degree in Sciences (Microbiology) by Instituto de Ciências Biomédicas, Universidade de São Paulo (ICB USP, 2002), Ph.D. in Sciences (Dermatology) by Faculdade de Medicina, Universidade de São Paulo (FMUSP, 2008) and specialization in Medical Mycology (2000) and Advanced Immunology (2009) by Institut Pasteur de Paris. He worked as a researcher with vaccine preclinical trials anti-SIV in non-human primates in the Service d'Immuno-Virologie Laboratoire des Thérapies Innovantes et de Prévention des Infections Virales, in Commissariat à l'Energie Atomique et aux Energies Alternatives (CEA), France, from 2009 june to 2011 december. Currently, he is postdoctoral degree in the HIV / AIDS in the Laboratory of Investigation in Dermatology and Immunodeficiencies (LIM 56), Faculty of Medicine of the USP. Great experience in Immunopathology and Mycology areas, with emphasis on HIV infection and pathogenics fungi. Researches: immune responses to HIV / Aids, HIV vaccines, superficial and systemic mycoses and dermatophytosis. Presently, he is a health analyst by the municipal government of São Paulo, working as a pharmacist at the Hospital Municipal e Maternidade Prof. Mario Degni since April 2019.
