Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP). Instituto de Física Gleb Wataghin (IFGW)  (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal)
Birthplace: Brazil

I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Physics (1997), a Master's degree in Physics (2000), and a PhD degree in Sciences (2004) from the State University of Campinas. Subsequently, I served as a Postdoc Associate Fellow at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (2005 - 2008) and later as the Jack E. Crow Fellow Postdoc at the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (2008 - 2011) before assuming the position of Faculty Scientist (Researcher) at the same institution (July 2011 - November 2011). I left my role at the NHMFL to take up a position at the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) in my hometown. Currently, I hold the position of Associate Professor at Unicamp, where I oversee the NMR Lab. (LaRMNuQ) and the Lab. of Complex and Nanostructured Materials (LMCNano). I was the Head of the Quantum Electronics Department at the Gleb Wataghin Institute of Physics (2018 - 2020 and 2020 - 2022), and previously, the deputy head of the same Department (2017 - 2018). My area of expertise lies in Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Nuclear Quadrupole Resonance (NQR) in high magnetic fields (45 T), low temperatures (mK), and high pressures. Additionally, I my specialization extends to Electron Spin Resonance (ESR) and the measurement of Thermal, Transport, and Magnetic Properties such as Electrical Resistivity, Specific Heat, Hall effect, Magnetization, AC/DC susceptibility. I also possess knowledge in 3He and dilution (3He/4He) refrigerator systems. Currently, my research focuses on low-dimensional electronic systems and nanostructured complex materials with the aim of advancing technological applications. I identify myself as an accomplished Science Professor and Researcher interested in Condensed Matter Physics and Nanotechnology with a keen interest for delivering valuable contribution through complex Magnetic Resonance experiments under extreme conditions. Committed to mentoring students to grow in their career by helping them to develop strategic skills and solve challenging problems on cutting-edge science and technology. Bringing forth a proven track record of analyzing complex data sets and serving as a strong advisor. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
