Fabio Passetti earned the Bachelor degree in Biological Sciences from the Sao Paulo State University in 1999, the Master's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Sao Paulo in 2002 and the PhD degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Sao Paulo in 2007. From 2006-2014 he worked as researcher at the National Cancer Institute of Brazil (INCA). Since 2014 he is a researcher at the Fundação Oswaldo Cruz, working at the Carlos Chagas Institute (Fiocruz-Paraná). He has experience in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology, working in the analysis and data integration of genomics, transcriptomics and proteomics. He lectures at the Computational and Systems Biology Graduate Program at IOC/Fiocruz, Brazil (CAPES 5). He lectures at the Biosciences and Biotechnology Graduate Program at ICC/Fiocruz, Brazil (CAPES 5). He is member of the Comissão de Pós-graduação (CPG) at the Biosciences and Biotechnology Graduate Program at ICC/Fiocruz, Brazil. He has a scholarship in research productivity (PQ, level 2) granted by CNPq, a Brazilian funding agency.
