Reinaldo A. C. Bianchi holds a BA in Physics from the Institute of Physics of the University of São Paulo (1994), Master's and Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (1998, 2004). He held a Postdoctoral internship at the Institute of Investigation en Intelligencia Artificial, IIIA-CSIC, Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. He is currently a Professor in the University Center FEI in Sao Bernardo do Campo, where he has been working since 1996. He is a reviewer of several of conferences and scientific journals, such as IJCAI, AAAI, IEEE PAMI, Artificial Intelligence, among others. In 2021, he organized the Brazilian Conference of Artificial Intelligence Systems (BRACIS) and in 2022 the ROBÓTICA event, which is one of the largest events of autonomous robotics and artificial intelligence held in Latin America, having been created by the union of several national events in the field of robotics: The XVI Brazilian Robotics Olympiad (OBR), the XX Brazilian Robotics Competition (CBR), the XII National Robotics Exhibition (MNR), the XIV Brazilian Symposium on Robotics (SBR), the XIII Workshop on Educational Robotics (WRE), the V Contest of Theses and Dissertations in Robotics (CTDR) and the V Workshop of Theses and Dissertations in Robotics (WTDR). In 2022 he proposed and organized for the first time the Brazilian Workshop on Artificial Intelligence in Finance (BWAIF), a satellite event of the SBC Conference. He is a member of the Brazilian Computer Society, the IEEE, and a founding member and trustee to RoboCup Brasil. Having as main objective of his research work the creation of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems, he works mainly in the following areas: Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Robotics, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence applied in Finance and also in The Teaching and Dissemination of Engineering.
