Carlos de Paula Portela

Graduated in Psychology. Masters in Psychology - Neuroscience and Behavior at the Institute of Psychology of the University of São Paulo. Completed a PhD in Sciences - #8203;Pharmacology at Institute of Biomedical Sciences at the University of São Paulo. Finished his postdoctoral about behavior and immune-inflammatory system affected by stress which was developed in the Department of Pathology of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Science, University of São Paulo. Developed studies on the role of operant conditioning and classical conditioning on anxiety and stress and its effects to the behavioral and psiconeuroimune responses. Registered a patent for an equipment used for behavioral studies in animals. Was Professor at Universidade Paulista, teaching Behavioral Psychology, Experimental Psychology, among other disciplines. Currently is Professor of Psychology of the Universitary Center UNIFUNEC of Santa Fe do Sul, SP. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
