Bachelor's degree in Psychology (1997), Master's degree in Social Psychology (2001), and a Ph.D. in Social Psychology from the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo (2005). Currently, he is a professor at the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo and serves as a supervisor for master's and doctoral students in the Graduate Program in Social Psychology at the Institute of Psychology. He served as vice-director of the Institute of Psychology at USP (2020-2023). He was the head of the Department of Social and Work Psychology (2019-2020), coordinator of the Graduate Program in Social Psychology (2017-2019), vice-president of the Graduate Committee of IP-USP (2018-2020), and vice-head of the Department of Social and Work Psychology (2017-2019). Along with Professor Arley Andriolo, he leads the Research Group in Social Aesthetics at CNPq. He coordinates the International Academic Agreements between the University of São Paulo and the University of A Coruña (Spain), the University of Valparaíso (Chile), the University of Auckland, the Autonomous Popular University of the State of Puebla (Mexico), and the double degree agreement between the University of São Paulo and the University of Málaga (Spain). He served as editor-in-chief (2012-2020) and executive editor (2010-2012) of the journal Psicologia USP. He is a consulting editor for the journal International Perspectives in Psychology and an Associate Editor of the journal Political Psychology (2020-). He was a member of the board of the Brazilian Association of Scientific Editors in Psychology (ABECiPsi, 2014-2020) and of the board of the Brazilian Association of Environmental Psychology and Person-Environment Relations (ABRAPA, 2019-2022). He is a member of the Environmental Psychology Working Group of the National Association of Research and Graduate Studies in Psychology (ANPEPP). He primarily works on the following topics: socio-environmental psychology, psychosocial constitution of identity, social psychology, and social control. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
