Scientific leader of radical innovation projects in Industrial Biotechnology. Author of scientific publications (H-factor=11) and patent applications. Currently acts as a Research Specialist at Mahle Metal Leve, S.A. From 2010 and 2015 acted as coordinator of the Molecular Biology team and Project Manager at the Renewable Products Laboratory at Braskem S.A. Bachellor in Biology from the Universidad Simón Bolívar (1999), Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2006) and Post-doctoral fellow of the Universidade de Campinas (2006-2008 and 2008-2010). Has acted as reviewer for the journals BMC Genomics, Current Genetics, Molecular Plant-Microbe Interactions, Annals of Applied Biology and Theoretical Biology and Medical Modelling and as referee for the grant agencies FAPESB (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado da Bahia) and FAPESP (Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo).
