Wayne Santos de Assis

Civil Engineer from the Federal University of Sergipe (1999), he has a technical degree in Buildings from the Federal Technical School of Sergipe (1994), a master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2002), a doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2007), with a sandwich program at the University of Porto, Portugal (2004-2005), and a post-doctorate in Civil Engineering from the University of São Paulo (2008). He is currently an Associate Professor at the Technology Centre of the Federal University of Alagoas (CTEC/UFAL), having been the coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Civil Engineering (PPGEC/UFAL), coordinator of the Structures and Materials Laboratory (LEMA) and vice-coordinator of the undergraduate course in Civil Engineering. He is a researcher and supervisor of theses and dissertations at PPGEC/UFAL, with experience in Civil Engineering, working mainly on the following subjects: experimental analysis of structures, structural monitoring, remote sensing, reinforced concrete structures, and active learning methodologies in engineering education.
