He holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the National University of Mar Del Plata, Argentina (1999), a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2002) and a PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of São Paulo, Brazil (2007). Conducted a research internship at the "Genomic Signal Processing Laboratory" of "Texas A&M University", USA (as "Research Scholar Visitor" and "Engineering Research Technician") under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Edward Russell Dougherty. He has experience in modeling, simulation and computational identification of genetic regulatory networks, particularly the eukaryotic cell cycle control system. During the Post-Doctorate he worked in the identification of gene regulation networks and in the construction of a cooperative web environment for the analysis of gene expression data (based on the abstraction of the processes involved) within the project "National Center for High Performance Processing in Bioinformatics of (CENABID)."
