Rosenda Valdés Arencibia

graduation at ENGENHARIA EM CONSTRUÇÃO DE MAQUINARIA from UNIVERSIDADE DE PINAR DEL RIO (1994), master's at Mestrado em Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos from Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos (1999) and doctorate at Doutorado em Engenharia Mecânica from Escola de Engenharia de São Carlos (2003). She is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. She is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia. She serves as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement (IEEE/TIM) journal. She is a member of the IEEE Joseph F. Keithley Award in Instrumentation and Measurement Committee. She served for 4 years as Associate Editor of IEEE/TIM. She has experience in dimensional metrology, working mainly on the following topics: calibration, measurement uncertainty, roughness, quality management, experimental design and data analysis, and coordinate measuring machines.
