She holds a degree in Meteorology from the University of São Paulo (USP) (2005), a master's degree in Meteorology from USP (2008) and a PhD in Environmental Science, also from USP (2016). She has been hired as a professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) (2024). She started her teaching career at the Federal University of Campina Grande (UFCG) in 2018, where she served as undergraduate coordinator from 2022-2024 and worked in the Postgraduate Program in Meteorology at UFCG. She coordinated the Climate Services Laboratory (LabSClim/UFCG), which hosts a page with weather and climate forecast products developed by the students themselves. She was the coordinator of a research project supported by the Paraíba State Research Foundation (FAPESP/FAPESQ 2019 Call for Proposals). Previously, she worked at Climatempo private company (2008-2017) in the area of #8203;#8203;weather forecasting and modeling and development, in the latter acting as team coordinator. She has worked on the following research topics: assessment of risks and opportunities of climate change and land use and the use of meteorological tools for weather and climate forecasting.
