Mário Almeida Neto

Mário Almeida-Neto holds a PhD in Ecology from the State University of Campinas and did a post-doctorate in the Department of Zoology at UNICAMP. He has a master's degree in Ecology from UNICAMP and a degree in Biological Sciences from UNESP in São José do Rio Preto (SP). He was an adjunct professor at the University of Brasília (UnB) and is currently an associate professor at the Federal University of Goiás (UFG). He was coordinator of the Graduate Program in Ecology and Evolution at UFG (2016-2018). It works in several areas of ecology, with an emphasis on community ecology, ecological interactions, metacommunities, biogeography and the value of biodiversity. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
