Professor and Researcher with a Bachelor's, Licentiate, and Direct Doctorate in Geography, all degrees obtained from São Paulo State University - UNESP. He worked for a decade as a teacher of Geography and History at elementary and high school levels in both public and private institutions. He served at the Presbyterian Mackenzie Institute between 2011 and 2013 as a teacher and author of educational-pedagogical materials. He was a professor of Human Geography at the Federal University of Latin American Integration - UNILA - from 2013 to 2019, where he also served as a permanent professor in the Graduate Program in Contemporary Integration of Latin America and the Graduate Program in Human Rights in Latin America. At UNILA, he held the positions of Head of the Research Department, President of the Local Committee for Scientific Initiation, Institutional Coordinator of Scientific and Technological Initiation with CNPq, Institutional Coordinator of Scientific Initiation Research, University Extension, Affirmative Action Scholarships, Basic and Applied Research with the Araucária Foundation, Coordinator of the UNILA-PRATI DONADUZZI Research Program, Institutional Coordinator of the Pedagogical Residency Program, and Vice-Coordinator of the Interdisciplinary Center for Territory, Architecture, and Design - CITAD. In 2019, he joined the Department of Geography at the Center for Education and Human Sciences of the Federal University of Sergipe - UFS, while remaining a collaborating professor in the Graduate Program in Contemporary Integration of Latin America at UNILA. At UFS, he served as the Institutional Coordinator of the Program for Pedagogical Support to Licensure Students in Schools - PROLICE - and most recently, he has been acting as the Institutional Coordinator of the Institutional Program for Teaching Initiation Scholarships - PIBID/UFS - and the National Program for Teacher Training - PARFOR - at UFS. He is a member of the Research Institute for Economic Geography of South America - GeoLab Institute - and coordinator of the Study Group on Geopolitics and Urban-Regional Political Economy - GEOEPUR. Recently, he has been working as an auditor for the Environmental Education Program in Coastal Areas under the PETROBRAS/FAPESE Agreement. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
