Graduated in Physiotherapy from Herminio Ometto University Center of Araras (2002), specialized in Physiotherapy applied to Adult Neurology at UNICAMP (2004), and completed a Direct Doctor Degree in Medical Sciences at UNICAMP (2008) as a FAPESP scholarship holder (2005-2008), with ongoing Post-Doctorate studies (2019) from the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Health Sciences at Albert Einstein Israeli Institute for Education and Research (São Paulo-SP). Currently an Associate Professor of the Physiotherapy Course focusing on Physical Therapy for the Locomotor System and Adult Neurology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (FACISA/UFRN), providing mentorship in the academic Master's program within the Graduate Program in Rehabilitation Sciences (PPGCREAB) and the Graduate Program in Physiotherapy (PPGFIS) at the Santa Cruz campus for both Master's and Doctorate levels. Member of the Brazilian Association of Neurofunctional Physiotherapy (Abrafin), World Stroke Organization (WSO), and Brazilian Academy of Neurology (ABN), engaged with the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation and Commission of Multidisciplinary Care in Neurology (CCMN). Serving as lead researcher in the multicenter study "Access to Rehabilitation in Brazil after Stroke" (AReA study), with extensive experience in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, particularly focusing on Adult Neurology, acess to rehabilitation at low and middle resources centers, cerebrovascular disease rehabilitation, secondary prevention, self-management, motor control, and motor learning.
