Birthplace: Brazil

PhD in Genetics and Molecular Biology at Unicamp in 2013, with a doctoral internship at Johannes Gutenberg Universitaet, in Mainz (2012). Professor at the Departamento de Genética of ICBS at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Genetics, Evolution and Bioagents at the Institute of Biology at Unicamp between 2013 and 2016, with a grant from FAPESP, and between 2017 and 2018 at the Department of Genetics and Evolutionary Biology at the Institute of Biosciences at USP, with PNPD grant. My major interest lies on the evolution in heterogeneous environment, with emphasis on the understanding of the role of genotype-environment interaction in the evolution of phenotypic plasticity and phenotypic robustness and canalization.
