Degree in Biological Sciences by the Instituto de Biociências, Letras e Ciências Exatas (IBILCE) from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho (UNESP), São José do Rio Preto, SP - Brazil (2000). Master and PhD degree in Biological Sciences (Genetics) by the Instituto de Biociências de Botucatu (IBB) from UNESP, Botucatu, SP - Brazil (2005 and 2008). Postdoctoral in Toxicology by the Faculdade de Ciências Farmacêuticas de Ribeirão Preto (FCFRP) from Uiversidade de São Paulo (USP), Ribeirão Preto, SP - Brazil (2010).Postdoctoral in Molecular Biology by the University Central Florida (UCF) Orlando, FL - USA (2023). Biophysics Associate Professor III at the Universidade Federal da Paraíba (UFPB), João Pessoa, PB - Brazil and a permanent professor of the Post-Graduate course in Cellular and Molecular Biology (UFPB). Undergraduate and Master's student advisor in Structural Molecular Biology and Toxinology areas.To date, she supervised eight Masters, three Bachelors and 48 Undergraduates students (scientific initiation, scientific initiation - high school, young talents for science and monitoring in biophysics). I am an editorial board of the Journal Venons and Toxins (ISSN: 2666-1225_Online; ISSN: 2666-1217_Print). She has 29 full papers published in international journals, 108 abstracts in annals of national and international events and 34 presentations of scientific papers and lectures in Structural Molecular Biology and Toxinology areas.She conceived, organized and coordinated 12 editions of the Journal of Radiological Biophysics at UFPB and two editions of the Interactive Systematic Biophysics; all events were open to the scientific, academic and general public.She has experience in Biophysics and Biochemistry, with emphasis in Structural Molecular Biology, working mainly in X-ray Crystallography - macromolecules (proteins), snake venom proteins, acidic and basic phospholipases A2 (Lys49 and Asp49-PLA2), and biological activities of venoms and isolated proteins from snake venom.
