Leandro José Bertoglio

Pharmacist (1998) with M.Sc. (2000), Ph.D. (2004), and Post-Doc (2007) in Pharmacology. Has experience in Neuropsychopharmacology and Neuroscience, acting on the following subjects: anxiety, learning and memory, hippocampus, medial prefrontal cortex, thalamic nucleus reuniens, noradrenaline, endocannabinoids, and psychedelics. Currently, he is a Full Professor of Pharmacology at the University of Santa Catarina, Florianopolis, SC, Brazil, where he develops research and teaching activities. Former Head of the Pharmacology Department and Director of the Profissional Master's Course in Pharmacology (four years each), as well as Vice-director of the Graduate Program in Pharmacology for two years.
