Richard Liebano holds a degree in Physical Therapy from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas (1998), a Masters in Reconstructive Plastic Surgery from Universidade Federal de São Paulo (2000), and a Ph.D. in Sciences from the same institution (2004). In 2009, he completed a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at The University of Iowa.Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the University of Hartford, USA, where he leads the Biophysical Agents Research Lab.His expertise lies in Physical Therapy, specializing in the application of electrophysical agents to the musculoskeletal and integumentary systems.
