Graduated in Dentistry from Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" - Faculty of Dentistry of Araçatuba - FOA-UNESP (2008-2013), Master (2014-2016) and Doctor (2016-2019) in General and Applied Biology (area of concentration in Cellular, Structural and Functional Biology) by the Botucatu Institute of Biosciences - IBB - UNESP. Professional experience as a research associate at the University of Texas at Dallas in the Department of Bioengineering and Sciences (Bioengineering and Sciences Building - BSB). He is currently Associate Professor (Cell Biology, Histology and Anatomy) at the University Center of Northern São Paulo - UNORTE in undergraduate courses in Dentistry specialization in Medicine (dermatology, general surgery, plastic surgery) and specialization in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology.. He has a background in dentistry with an emphasis on histology, cell biology and human anatomy. He works mainly on the following subjects: calcium-binding proteins (parvalbumin, calretinin and calbindin); expression of teneurins (TENs) and TCAPS in the central and peripheral nervous system, as well as organs of non-human primates (Sapajus spp) and rats; relationship between diseases from oral cavity and systemic disorders.
