Graduated (2004) in Pharmacy-Biochemistry from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo, master's degree (2006) and doctorate (2009) in Pharmaceuticals and Medicines from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of São Paulo. He did post-doctoral internships at United States Pharmacopeia, Rockville, USA (2010) and at the University of Lisbon, Portugal (2018). He is currently a PhD professor in the Department of Pharmacy at the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of São Paulo. He is also a member of ForMEQ - International Forum for Metrology and Examinology in Chemistry and of CITAC - Cooperation on International Traceability in Analytical Chemistry. He develops research, teaching and extension work in the areas of metrology and examinology in chemistry, covering the evaluation of measurement uncertainty in drug analyzes, the estimation of the risks of false decisions regarding compliance assessments, and the development of analytical procedures using the concepts of quality by analytical design (AQbD).
