Daniela Rocha Porto

Holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from Universidade de Guarulhos (2010), a Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy from Universidade Virtual do Estado de São Paulo UNIVESP (2022), and a postgraduate specialization in Africa and its Diasporas from Universidade Federal de São Paulo UNIFESP (2025). Earned a Masters degree in Geoenvironmental Analysis from Universidade de Guarulhos (2014), with a FAPESP scholarship, conducting research focused on fluviomorphometric and geological analysis in the Northwestern portion of the Western Paulista Plateau, investigating possible neotectonic deformations.Works as a Geography teacher in the public school system of the State of São Paulo, with experience teaching both primary and secondary education. Has also taught in technical schools, such as Centro Paula Souza (ETEC Suzano), and in public and private institutions including Colégio Tobias de Aguiar and Escola Ana Moraes. She has taught subjects such as Applied Geography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) in technical environmental programs.Has experience in Geosciences and Physical Geography, with an emphasis on topics such as morphotectonics, river basins, fluviomorphometry, and structural geomorphology. Was a research fellow during her undergraduate studies and participated in research projects funded by FAPESP and Universidade de Guarulhos. She is the author of scientific articles published in academic journals and conference proceedings.In addition to her academic and teaching work, she also engages in cultural and artistic activities, participating in musical collectives and contributing to independent publications, always integrating feminist activism and a commitment to social and educational causes.
