Inês Moura, Coimbra, Portugal, 1984. Lives and works in São Paulo, Brazil. She is a MSc student on the program of Art investigation: "Artistic Processes and Proceedings" at the Art Institute at UNESP. Graduated in 2009 with a BSc in Arts - Painting, from the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon. That same year she attended the School of Communication and Arts at USP, São Paul, Brazil, for one semester as an exchange student, under the scholarship program Santander-Universities. She is currently part of the editorial team for the magazine Marte 4, a space for editorial investigation belonging to the students of the Fine Arts in Lisbon. The next issue will be entitled SPACE: From the artistic creation to the spacial intervention, a project supervised by the investigator and curator Sara Antónia Matos. The magazine will be released at the end of may at the Galeria Vermelho in São Paulo. In 2009 she was awarded with the BES-Revelation prize, after which she exhibited her work at the Serralves Museum in Oporto (Nov.09/Mar.10) and at the BES Arts & Finances space in Lisbon (Apr.10/Jun.10). Has regularly hosted exhibitions over the past two years, of which we highlight: OPINION 011, at the Emmérico Nunes Cultural Center - Sines, Portugal (Jan.11/Mar.11), PAINTING NEWLY GRADUATES 08 09, at the Galveis Palace, Lisbon ( Jul.10/Aug.10), and the 17th ED.
