His research focuses on the application of optimization techniques to the calculation of chemical, phase, and combined chemicalphase equilibria in multicomponent, multiphase systems, with an emphasis on biomass conversion into biofuels. He has experience and expertise in the thermodynamic assessment of methane and biomass reforming and gasification processes for hydrogen and syngas production, as well as in synthesis reactions aimed at producing synthetic fuels, applying optimization techniques, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
