He has graduate as a Bachelor in Chemistry at University of São Paulo in 2008, following with a Masters Degree in Chemistry in 2011 and PhD in 2016 at said institution. Research interests range from, but are not limited to, the discovery of new hybrid materials or unusual applications of current materials for optoelectronic devices and non-linear optics. He has experience in industry's R&D and has worked with Prof. Koiti Araki in a Post-Doc position researching on electrical conducting and electroactive coordination polymers. Teaching experience includes a Lecturer position in Physical-Chemstry at UFSC, Blumenau, Brazil. He is currently a Research Fellow at University of Nottingham, part of the Advanced Materials Research Group working with MOF-modified optical fibres for medicinal applications.
