Physics professor at the Federal Technological University of Paraná, Cornélio Procópio campus. Graduated in physics from UEL, with a first master's degree in molecular simulation physics from CBPF (Brazilian Center for Physical Research), a second master's degree in bioinformatics from UTFPR, a Ph.D. in plasma physics from CBPF, where he worked with tokamaks, completing internships at IPFN in Portugal and ASDEX Upgrade in Germany, and postdoctoral research at USP and IRFM in France. He conducts research on tokamaks, electromagnetism, scientific instrumentation, and is involved in extension projects, such as PUDiM and the creation of Escape Rooms. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)

An alternative method to obtain the safety factor and the effective mass of a tokamak plasma has been developed at the Laboratory of Plasma Physics, in IFUSP.
